About My Clients
I’m looking to work with clients who are goal-oriented and open to either structured therapy or a more free-flowing approach, depending on their needs. I connect especially well with millennial women, particularly BIPOC women, and anyone who has felt marginalized or misunderstood. A good fit would be someone who is open to actively participating in sessions and committed to meeting weekly as part of their therapeutic journey.
My Background and Approach
I believe my background as a female of a minority race, and the daughter of immigrants helps me see individuals in a nonjudgmental space informed by a social justice lens. My upbringing, education, and work experience combine for a unique level of appreciation and understanding that helps me connect with people on a more intimate level. I work well with clients who are seeking either a supportive space for talk therapy or a more structured, skill-building approach—or a blend of both. My style integrates both methods, offering flexibility based on individual needs. I assign weekly therapy homework to encourage accountability and growth between sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an advocate for social justice and an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community, it's important to me to support and celebrate diverse identities. I welcome individuals in non-monogamous or non-traditional relationships and those engaged in sex work as I recognize these as unique experiences and topics, and aim to create a safe, compassionate space for individuals within them.
