Accepting Clients

In therapy, we'll untangle all of it together - the messy, the transcendent, the light and the dark - and chart a path toward healing.

About My Clients

Healing is a brave and loving pursuit, but that doesn't mean it doesn't feel daunting to turn over the stones of grief and self-denial. We heal and grow not in a straight line, but in a spiral: a movement back & forth, from darkness to light, and the path can seem overgrown and difficult to move through. There might be upheaval, pain, grief, and moments of darkness to sift through and understand. The good news is that no matter what has brought you here, you don't have to navigate this alone.

My Background and Approach

I'm an integrative therapist who incorporates attachment theory, parts work, and transpersonal therapy in my work with couples and individuals. I offer insights, observations, and gentle challenges while encouraging you toward building a stronger connection to your internal sources of strength, intuition, and integrity. I believe in radical self-compassion and acceptance, and in meeting you where you are without judgment. I honor where you’ve been because there is a lot of wisdom you’ve cultivated throughout your life, even if it doesn’t always feel that way. I trust and highlight your unique insights and I bring gentle, encouraging challenge to areas where you might feel stuck. I'm interested in dreams, archetypes, stories, and legends as frameworks and vehicles for healing, self-understanding, and meaning-making, and love to incorporate these aspects into therapy work.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

No matter who you are, I believe that you are worthy of dignity, respect, and care. I am open to all spiritual and religious belief systems and respectful of how much or how little you want to include these beliefs/traditions in your therapy work. I believe strongly in every person's right and ability to define their unique values, and I emphasize building inner trust, integrity, and discernment in the process of living your values in the world. I seek to understand others in their full complexity, without preconceived ideas of who they are - this includes the contexts and communities you live in, your personal values, your experiences, your history, and the identities you hold, as well as your relationships to those aspects of yourself.
