You're tired of being stuck in the same unhelpful patterns. Your anxiety affects everything - work, relationships, your self-confidence. You feel like you're "too much" or "too sensitive" for everyone in your life. Talking about your feelings isn't really helping as much as you want it to. I can help. I work with women who are ready to get unstuck from unhelpful patterns, heal long-held anxiety and trauma, and show up authentically and unapologetically.
How I Can Help You
I help my clients reconnect to their bodies and feelings in a safe and creative way. We use creativity, play, and mindfulness interwoven with talk therapy to help bring energy and curiosity to stuck places and encourage a deeper connection between mind and body. Anxiety and trauma are stored in the body (and may go back decades -- or into your family history). It's time to slow down, get curious, and start healing. I am an experienced music therapist and psychotherapist, with extensive post-graduate training in creative arts-based trauma treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It can be tricky to slow down and look at what's keeping you stuck, but it's so valuable. I've been there. I believe that all of your feelings matter - even the ones you judge, push away, or ignore. I don't believe your anxiety has to define you - it's only a part of who you are. The stories of those who came before you can deeply affect how you show up in the world. I believe that therapy can be a fun and collaborative experience - as well as a powerful and deeply transformative one.
