About My Clients
I enjoy working with young adults (college aged) and adults who are looking for mental health support. Life is hard and can be super messy. There's no one way or right way to do things but sometimes we have a hard time figuring out the right way for us. Let's talk it through and figure it out. Whether you are dealing with life challenges or transitions, anxiety, depression, or generally seeking a place to talk things through and identify your own path, I'm here to explore with you.
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years of experiance in the mental health field and have worked with all ages, kids through adults, in a variety of settings. I'm passionate about providing therapy and building a collaborative relationship. I believe in connecting on a human level and don't pretend to be an expert on you or your experiance. I know therapy is a not a one size fits all and the same goes for therapists. If we meet and you don't feel you click with me, that's ok. I take no offense. I run a group practice with many other amazing therapists and I'd be happy to see if someone else is a better fit for you. The ultimate goal is finding a therapist that works for you so you can get all that you want out of the therapy experiance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm big into social justice and politics. My beliefs shape how I show up as a person and a therapist. I'm pro choice and believe fiercely in a woman's right to bodily autonomy. I believe equality is a basic human right and everyone deserves safety, access to resources and the right to their own existence.
