Feeling a certain level of anxiety over big stressors or certain life events is totally normal. However, if you find that your fear or worry does not go away and, in fact, gets worse over time, you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling and often passes quickly, while severe anxiety can seriously affect your day-to-day life. If you are finding your anxiety unmanageable, can’t identify the cause of your anxious feelings or if you are suffering from physical symptoms (such as heart palpations, fatigue, sweaty hands, upset stomach, or insomnia), it may be time to get help. I work with adults who are looking to get more in touch with their inner sense of vitality. If depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, or other mental health concerns are pulling you away from the people or activities that most bring you to life, we will work together on discovering how you can reconnect and live more fully.
I primarily work with LGBTQ clients, BIPOC clients, immigrants or children of immigrants, and those with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, and low self-esteem. And since I work with many marginalized populations, it is important to me that clients understand how their struggles are impacted more by society than by themselves.

I value being able to work with my clients throughout there therapeutic journey. I find it important that clients are able to grow and learn about themselves. When clients are able to get to know themselves they are able to get a better understanding of their emotions, behaviors and thoughts. My goals is to empower each client I work with. Our mind is extremely powerful and instead of it taking over your capabilities I want to work with to gain back control of yourself.
